# An AI scribe for longevity clinics that drafts, never signs

Source: https://www.longevityehr.com/ai-scribe

The AI scribe is on the roadmap. It will draft the visit's SOAP note and a recap of the chart for the provider to review, edit and sign. Signing works the way it does today.

## AI visit notes, drafted in SOAP format

AI visit notes

The scribe is designed to draft from the visit itself, into the same SOAP structure your [clinical notes](https://www.longevityehr.com/clinical-notes) use today. A short recap of the chart is planned to sit above the draft: recent results, the active care plan and what changed since last time.

Design concept. The AI scribe is on the roadmap and is not available today.

## A long visit's write-up shouldn't start from blank

Why it matters

A longevity visit can cover results across many biomarkers, a plan with several steps and questions about sleep, training and supplements. Writing it up afterward takes time the provider could spend with the next patient.

An AI scribe for longevity clinics takes the first draft off the provider's plate. The provider's time goes into reviewing, correcting and deciding. The scribe is listed in the Scale plan on our [pricing](https://www.longevityehr.com/pricing) page.

## What the draft would hold.

Four sections the provider edits, then signs as one note.

A draft Subjective, Objective, Assessment and Plan, prepared from the visit conversation and ready for the provider to edit.

Nothing is signed by the AI. The provider reviews every line and signs, as they do now.

## Built on notes you already sign

Live today

[Clinical notes](https://www.longevityehr.com/clinical-notes) are in production today. Providers write SOAP notes and sign them, corrections to a signed note are made as amendments, and per-note visibility controls what the patient sees in the [patient portal](https://www.longevityehr.com/white-label-patient-portal).

The AI medical scribe adds a draft in front of that workflow. It does not replace it. If the AI is unavailable, the note editor is designed to keep working so the provider can write the note by hand.

## What the AI medical scribe will and won't do

Scope

### Drafts from the visit

Will turn the visit conversation into a draft note, so the provider edits instead of starting from a blank page.

### Leaves judgment to you

Diagnosis, lab interpretation and treatment decisions stay with the provider, who reviews and signs every note.

### Same controls as the chart

Drafts are planned to live in the patient's chart under the same tenant isolation, roles and audit trail as every other note.

## Frequently asked questions

### Does LongevityEHR have an AI scribe today?

Not yet. The AI scribe is on the roadmap. Today providers write and sign SOAP notes in LongevityEHR's [clinical notes](https://www.longevityehr.com/clinical-notes).

### What is an AI medical scribe?

Software that listens to a clinical visit and drafts the note, so the clinician reviews and edits a draft instead of writing from a blank page.

### Will AI visit notes be signed automatically?

No. Every draft waits for the provider, who edits it and signs it. The AI never signs a note.

### Will patients see the AI draft?

No. Patients see a note only after the provider signs it and it is marked visible, the same rule that applies to every note today.

### Which plan includes the AI scribe?

It is listed in the Scale plan, at $199 per provider per month. It is on the roadmap and not available today. See [pricing](https://www.longevityehr.com/pricing).
