LongevityEHR vs Decoda Health at a glance
LongevityEHR vs Decoda Health is a comparison between two standalone systems that both court longevity clinics. If you are looking for a Decoda Health alternative, or deciding between the two for a new practice, the useful question is which workflow sits at the center of your clinic: the treatment room and front desk, or the lab result and what it changes.
Decoda Health describes itself as an all-in-one EMR and practice management platform for elective care. Its own site leads with med spas and lists wellness, weight loss, IV therapy, longevity and regenerative clinics as the practices it serves, from solo practitioners to franchises. It went through Y Combinator in Summer 2023.
LongevityEHR is a standalone EHR and white-label patient portal for cash-pay longevity, functional medicine, concierge and hormone optimization clinics with 1 to 5 providers. It is organized around the longevity care loop: a lab result arrives, it is read against your clinic's ranges, it changes the plan, and the next result shows whether the plan worked.
So the honest summary is that the two products overlap in the middle and differ at the edges. Decoda covers more of the front desk and the treatment room today. LongevityEHR goes further on turning lab reports into biomarker data your clinic owns and presents under its own brand.

Labs and biomarkers: ordering vs reading
This is where the two products differ most. Decoda's labs product is built around ordering: panel templates ordered from the chart, collection in clinic or at home, and results that return as structured data. Its site names several national and specialty labs, and says clinics can use their own lab contracts or Decoda's managed network.
LongevityEHR starts from the report your clinic already has. Longevity patients bring results from many places: a national lab, a specialty panel, a direct-to-consumer test, a previous physician. AI lab extraction reads a PDF or image, matches each value to your clinic's biomarkers and stops at a review queue. Unit mismatches are flagged and never converted silently, low-confidence values are flagged, duplicates are caught, and extracted values reach the patient only after a provider releases them.
Once the values are in, biomarker tracking applies the ranges your clinic defines for each marker and sex, groups markers by health domain and charts every value over time. Classification against those ranges is deterministic. The AI does not interpret results, and providers write every word of interpretation.
Prescribing, AI and the treatment room
If your clinic prescribes from the chart every day, Decoda is ahead today. Its medications product covers e-prescribing, controlled-substance prescribing through a Drummond-certified integration, dosing guidance, and inventory that deducts as providers chart. Its ambient scribe drafts a SOAP note for the provider to review and sign, and an AI front desk answers calls and books patients.
LongevityEHR has none of those available today. E-prescribing is in development, and an AI scribe is on the roadmap. What LongevityEHR does today in the visit is clinical notes in SOAP format with signing and per-note control over whether the patient can see each note. It has no AI front desk or inventory module today.
Pricing and getting started
Decoda does not publish prices. Its site says there are no onboarding fees, plans are month-to-month and there is no annual commitment, and the path in is a demo.
LongevityEHR publishes its pricing. Core is $99 per provider per month and Scale is $199 per provider per month, with Enterprise priced on request. Annual billing saves 30%, and every plan includes unlimited patients. A 15-day free trial includes AI extraction for up to 10 lab PDFs, so you can upload real reports and judge the output before you talk to anyone.
Which one should you choose?
Decoda Health is the better fit if
- Your clinic is a med spa or runs aesthetics, injectables or IV therapy alongside longevity care.
- You need e-prescribing, controlled-substance prescribing or lab ordering inside the EHR today.
- Phone volume is a real cost and you want an AI front desk answering and booking.
- You track product inventory by lot and want it tied to charting.
LongevityEHR is the better fit if
- Your care is built around lab panels from several labs, and retyping values is the bottleneck.
- You want your own ranges per biomarker and sex, and trends your patients can follow.
- You want a portal and payments under your clinic's brand, with money going to your own Stripe account.
- You run a 1 to 5 provider cash-pay practice and want published pricing and a trial before a sales call.
Some clinics will need both a treatment-room system and a lab-centered one. If that is you, map which system owns the patient record before you buy, because two charts for one patient is the problem most clinics are trying to leave.
See it with your own lab reports
The fastest way to judge LongevityEHR is to put a real lab report through it. Start the free trial, upload a few PDFs, set ranges for the markers you care about and look at the trend and the care plan your patient would see. If you would rather see it first, book a demo and we will show you what is live today and what is in development.
