Cash-pay by design

Every patient payment lands in your account

Longevity, concierge and functional practices sell care as memberships and packages, not as insurance claims. Everything you sell in your white-label patient portal is a direct charge on your clinic's own Stripe account, so your clinic is the merchant and the money goes to you.

LongevityEHR takes no commission on what your patients pay. Your subscription is a flat price per provider, shown on pricing.

What you can sell

How your clinic packages care

The catalog, the patient's credits, their appointments and their care plan are one system, without a second billing tool to reconcile.

Recurring care, billed on a cadence

How it bills
Every month or every year, through a Stripe subscription on your clinic's account.
Good for
Ongoing care where each billing period includes a set of visits and labs.
Patient view
The active membership, its invoices and the credits each period grants, in their portal.

A set of visits and labs, paid once

How it bills
One payment by card in the portal for a set of appointments and lab draws.
Good for
A defined program of visits and labs. You choose how long bundle credits stay valid.
Patient view
The purchase and the credits it added to their account.

What a membership or bundle turns into

How it bills
Credits are not sold on their own. They come from a membership period or a bundle purchase.
Good for
Matching what was paid to what gets booked, for appointments and for lab steps in a care plan.
Patient view
Their remaining visit and lab credits, in their portal.

A single visit or lab on its own

How it bills
One payment by card. It works like a bundle of one item.
Good for
A visit or lab a patient wants without a membership or a bundle.
Patient view
The purchase and its invoice, under your clinic's brand.

Credits

Credits that follow the visit

A credit is reserved when the visit is booked and only spent once it takes place, so a cancellation simply gives it back.

  • Booking holds a credit. Cancelling releases it. The visit taking place spends it.
  • Each lab step in a care plan holds one credit, and a lab the plan already covered is not charged twice when the result comes in.
  • You decide whether appointments and lab steps require a credit.
  • Patients see their remaining credits, purchases, memberships and invoices in their portal.

Your money, your account

Who handles what when a patient pays

Your clinic connects its own Stripe account. Here is where each part of a payment happens.

Part of the paymentWhere it happens
The chargeA direct charge on your clinic's own Stripe account. Your clinic is the merchant.
Card detailsSent from the patient straight to Stripe. They never pass through LongevityEHR.
What Stripe receivesThe patient's email and the amount, not the name of what was bought or anything clinical.
CommissionNone. LongevityEHR takes no commission on what your patients pay.
RefundsIssued from your own Stripe Dashboard. LongevityEHR shows the result.
Insurance claimsNot handled. LongevityEHR is built for cash-pay practices.

Getting set up

From catalog to first patient payment

  1. 1

    Connect Stripe

Activate your clinic's own connected Stripe account. Services can go live once it is able to take payments.

  2. 2

    Build your catalog

Create memberships, bundles and single services. Keep them as drafts until they are ready, publish them, or hide one to retire it.

  3. 3

    Patients buy in the portal

Published services appear in your white-label patient portal, where patients pay by card under your clinic's brand.

  4. 4

    Follow purchases and memberships

Staff who manage services see what each patient bought, their memberships and invoices.

The catalog and the calendar are one system, so a patient can book exactly what they bought.
